With the deaths of Rwanda’s President and Prime Minister, the country entered a full-fledged civil war displacing many people. While many people are trying to flee from the fighting, humanitarian organizations are helping neighboring countries to provide shelter for the refugees. In nine refugee camps there was a total population of 150,000 people. The mortality rates were 0.3 out of 10,000 people per day. Each person got about 6 liters of water per day from a well. There is about 3,500 refugees still living in Uganda. The UN gave the people that returned to Rwanda land, but on the land were many land mines. The land mine restrict the available land for farming and essentially makes them more vulnerable to disease and starvation. The total population of displaced is about 572,200, which is considered a moderate risk, while the war affects reaches 1,500,000, which is considered a high risk.  Then in 2010 President Kagame wins presidency, Kagame was an ex- army chief and was exiled to South Africa after being shot. Then later that year the UN reported the Rwanda’s conflict in Congo, during 1993-2003, could also be considered genocide. But this genocide must still be proven in court. (Timeline: Rwanda)
